// LAB COMPARISONS

Compare peptide testing laboratories

These pages state what each laboratory publishes on its own website, with the page linked and the date we read it. Nothing here comes from an affiliate blog, an aggregator, or a forum summary, because those are wrong often enough to be worthless for a decision this size.

Every comparison also states where the other laboratory is genuinely ahead of us, because several of them are. 2 of the 5 laboratories below publish an accreditation claim that we cannot make: Vanguard Laboratory and ILS Laboratories. Others publish a turnaround faster than ours, and one of them publishes a far larger archive of public certificates than we have.

How to read these pages

SOURCED OR ABSENT

Every competitor statement carries the URL it was read on and the date it was read. Where a laboratory does not publish something, the cell says so explicitly rather than sitting empty. A blank cell would read as "they do not do this", which is a much stronger claim than "they do not publish it".

NOT LIKE FOR LIKE

No two panels in this market answer the same set of questions, so the prices are not directly comparable and we do not build a winner out of them. Read what each price includes before comparing the numbers.

The laboratories

Axiom vs Janoshik Analytical

REVIEWED 2026-07-27

Describes its work as harm reduction chemical analysis for steroids, peptides and pharmaceutical compounds. Sells per-compound tests from an online catalogue.

Where they are ahead of us

Blind testing is a real methodological advantage we do not offer. Their GLP-1 test identifies which of three peptides is in the vial without the customer declaring it first, which removes the customer's expectation from the analysis. Our panel is planned against a declared compound.

Axiom vs Vanguard Laboratory

REVIEWED 2026-07-27

A general analytical laboratory in Washington State. Peptide purity and quantity testing is one line of business alongside food and beverage, brewing chemistry, soil, allergen and terpene analysis.

Where they are ahead of us

Vanguard states ISO/IEC 17025 and publishes an A2LA Certificate of Accreditation on a dedicated page. Axiom does not hold ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation. That is the single biggest difference between us and it is in their favour. If accreditation is a requirement for your use, stop reading and use them.

Axiom vs ILS Laboratories

REVIEWED 2026-07-27

An analytical laboratory serving dietary supplements, cosmetics, raw materials and research peptides, selling a standardised Full QC Panel plus a la carte tests through a client portal.

Where they are ahead of us

ILS states ISO 17025 accreditation. Axiom does not hold ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation.

Axiom vs Freedom Diagnostics Testing

REVIEWED 2026-07-27

Purity testing for research-use-only peptides, positioned on turnaround speed and on the size of its public COA archive.

Where they are ahead of us

Their published 24-48 hour turnaround is dramatically faster than ours. Our 4X panel is 4-7 business days and our 8X panel is 7-10. If speed is your deciding factor, they win it outright and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

Axiom vs Peptide Test

REVIEWED 2026-07-27

An online storefront selling per-compound purity and mass testing, plus lab supplies, with each compound listed as its own product.

Where they are ahead of us

Per-compound product pages make the price for your specific compound obvious before you commit, including separate, clearly higher prices for two, three and four component blends. Our panel price is flat per vial regardless of how many components have to be resolved, which is simpler but tells you less about the work involved.

What Axiom publishes, in one place

The same axes the comparison pages use, for our own service. Every value is read from this application's pricing and method source of truth rather than typed into a marketing page, so it cannot drift from what the certificate actually says.

Accreditation

Not ISO/IEC 17025 accredited. Testing runs under a documented quality system and every method prints its own validation status beside the result it produced.

What a standard order covers

Axiom 4X Essential $195: Molecular Mass Fingerprinting, Homogeneity Profiling, Net Peptide Mass Quantitation, Sterility Screen. Axiom 8X Comprehensive $595 adds Bacterial Endotoxin, Elemental Catalytic Sweep, Post-Reconstitution Stability, Fentanyl & Analog Screen. Endotoxin is available as a $50 module on 4X for injectable-format vials.

How identity is established

LC-MS/MS (ESI+), included in the base panel. Theoretical mass, observed mass and the error in daltons and ppm are printed for every declared component.

Published price

Axiom 4X Essential $195 per vial. Axiom 8X Comprehensive $595 per vial. Extra same-lot vials for cross-vial consistency $195 each.

Published turnaround

4-7 business days for 4X and 7-10 business days for 8X, measured from arrival of the vial at the lab rather than from order placement. USP 71 sterility, when ordered, runs on its own 14 day incubation timebase and is never folded into a fast tier.

How a third party retrieves the certificate

A public URL per released certificate, a verification page and QR, a public JSON endpoint, an embeddable widget, and published keys plus a signing recipe so the seal can be verified offline.

THE THING WE ARE WORST AT

Turnaround. 4-7 business days for Axiom 4X Essential and 7-10 business days for Axiom 8X Comprehensive is slower than several laboratories on this page, and one of them publishes a 24 to 48 hour average. If speed is your deciding factor, we are not the right answer and the comparison pages say so on their own pages rather than burying it here.

Test a vial, or verify one you already have.

Prices, panels and turnaround targets are published in full. There is no quote-to-find-out step.
