FAQ
- Is the Community Verification Program free?
- It is free to APPROVED applicants, and approval comes first. It is not a free test available on request: you apply, staff review the application, and the Community Fund covers the laboratory cost only for applications that are approved. Describing it as simply "free" leaves out the two things that decide whether any given person gets one, which are approval and available capacity.
- How often can I get a Community test?
- One funded test per approved applicant per 30-day window, which is once a month. The program also has a separate monthly cap on how many funded tests it can place in total, and that cap is a capacity figure that moves with the fund rather than a fixed rule. - Is the Community program accepting applications right now?
- Check https://axiomanalyticslab.com/community-program, which shows the current state. Availability depends on funding and on whether the qualified laboratory workflow is open, so it can change without this page changing. Never state the program's current intake state from memory, in either direction, and never invite someone to ship material before the page confirms it is being accepted: material that arrives for a paused program cannot be accessioned.
- Who qualifies for the Community program?
- Individual researchers and individual end users. Applicants need a verified email address, a residential address, and a payment method on file, which is used for identity correlation rather than for a charge. Applicants attest that the vial is for their own verification and that they are not a seller, reseller, manufacturer, or acting for one. A false attestation may disqualify an applicant from the program.
- What testing does a Community test actually cover?
- Axiom 4X Essential, the same panel a paying customer buys at $195. It is not the 8X panel and it does not include USP <71> or other add-on modules. The application asks for the product name, the declared amount per vial, and the lot number where one exists, exactly as a paid submission does, because a sample with nothing to quantify against cannot be tested.
- Will my certificate show that the test was free?
- No. The released certificate is identical to a paid one and carries no funding badge or any other marker. How the work was paid for is not a laboratory finding and does not belong on the report.
- How is the Community program funded, and can I donate?
- Public donations, a share of paid company testing swept into the Community Fund, and manual grants recorded by staff. Donations can be made at https://axiomanalyticslab.com/community-program. They fund program testing and are not tax-deductible.
- Can support approve my Community application, or tell me where it stands?
- No. Approval is a staff review and is not decided in chat, on a call, or by a virtual assistant. Take the applicant's name, the email they applied with, and what they submitted, and open a support ticket. Never tell an applicant they have been approved, will be approved, or are next in line.
- Is the Community program the same as the Community Heroes discount?
- No, and they are confused constantly because both begin with the word Community. The Community Verification Program covers the whole laboratory cost of one Axiom 4X Essential for an approved individual applicant. The Community Heroes discount is a percentage off what you pay, for eligible public-service roles, on orders you place normally. A customer may ask about one while meaning the other, so confirm which before answering.
