Can I save my own product name or SKU?
Yes. In the authenticated portal, open Product Names and map the company-specific product name or SKU to the canonical compound Axiom tests. Saved names are scoped to that customer or company; they are not made global for other customers.
Does a custom name change what compound is tested?
No. The custom term is a display and intake alias mapped to one canonical compound. It does not change the analytical identity, method, acceptance criteria, or underlying compound record.
What happens when a submitted name is unknown or ambiguous?
The submission must resolve through an explicit canonical identifier, the customer's saved alias map, or one exact catalog name or alias. If no unique match exists, the system refuses the mapping and offers candidates for human review. Axiom does not guess between compounds.
Can the same custom term point to several compounds?
No. A customer-specific term must resolve unambiguously. If duplicate mappings or an obsolete target make the term ambiguous, correct the mapping before submission.
Can a custom COA name be misleading?
No. The printed product name must accurately describe the submitted material and remain tied to the resolved tested compound. Staff may require clarification or correction rather than publish a misleading attribution.
